Take on the challenge: 72, 36 or 18 holes – in ONE DAY! Fundraise a minimum of $200 as your entry for the tournament to support the 1 in 3 Kiwis that will get a cancer diagnosis.

Date: Sunday 30th November 2025
Location: Tauhara Course, Taupo Golf Course
Free Breakfast, Spot Prizes, Round and hole competitions and more
You don’t have to be a golf pro - in fact, this is for all golfers and non-golfers! The Longest Day Golf Challenge is for anyone who loves a day on the green, and individuals, teams and corporate teams to get involved!
Partnering with Taupō Golf Club, we have a full day planned with lots of mini-competitions and spot prizes to keep you entertained throughout the day.
The mission
To raise funds and awareness for local cancer support. To challenge people to step outside of their comfort zone. To show your support for our local people living with cancer.
How to sign up
There is a two-step sign up process.
Step 1: Every participant must fill in the registration form so we know what event you are doing, if you’re in a relay group or not, and what team you are in.
Step 2: Create your fundraising profile here. Every participant must do this in order to participate. Then you can spread the word and start raising money for the Cancer Society's work in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty (note: all money raised stays within our local division). Participants need to fundraise at least $200 for entry into the tournament and have 3 months to do so. Corporates are welcome to pay this amount on behalf of their team members.
