The Cancer Society's Living Well programme offers practical ways of living well through your cancer experience.
This free programme is suitable for anyone with any type or stage of cancer as well as a whānau member or carer. Morning tea and light lunch provided.
The programme is facilitated by experienced Cancer Society supportive care nurses and will discuss a range of topics in a supportive environment, such as:
- managing the side effects of treatment
- what to eat and nutrition
- exercise and keeping active
- coping with stress
Learning more about living with cancer can help you feel less anxious about your diagnosis and give you skills that will help improve daily life.
