This is 26-year-old Paige. She has stage 4 brain cancer.
“It was heartbreaking to be told I’m terminal, and that I’m never going to have kids. Things I’ve always dreamed about happening like getting married, having kids, having a great family home, you know? It just tore me apart,” says Paige.
“But the hardest part is seeing what it is doing to my family. I can see it in their eyes. I can feel that it’s just breaking everyone’s hearts.”
Throughout Paige’s journey, she has been supported by her incredible mum Rachel, her close-knit circle of family and friends, and by the Cancer Society – including our wonderful volunteer drivers.
