This programme has been put on hold, however, Cancer Patients are welcome to join WellPro – a supportive rehabilitation programme for long term conditions.
WellPro at Unipol
The programme is led by a Pharmacist & a Physiotherapist supported by a network of health professionals.
It is every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am – 10:15am at the Unipol Gymnasium, 130 Anzac Ave (by the Stadium)
Situated at the front of the Forsyth Barr Stadium, Unipol is a university-owned facility. There is a café for a cuppa after your session.
- There is parking (card payment) available beside the gymnasium. Sometimes this carpark fills up, but there is free parking beside the sports fields and the cricket ground, if the stadium park is full
- There is Accessible Parking in the car park – limited to 1-2 parks
- If transport is a barrier to attending, please let us know and we can organise one of our volunteer drivers to take you.
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Bring a water bottle
- A friend, partner or support person is welcome to come and exercise too
