The National Board and National Advisory Committees are made up of representatives of each of the Cancer Society divisions.

National Committee

The National Committee of the Cancer Society has five regional representatives and a National Chair:

  • Kate Reid (Chair) 
  • Louisa Kraitzick (Auckland Northland)
  • Matt White (Waikato Bay of Plenty) 
  • John Waldon (Central Districts) 
  • Matt Valentine (Wellington) 
  • Dr Kate Gregory (Medical Director)

The Board meets at least quarterly and receives advice from the National Advisory Committees and National Office. The National Board is supported by a number of National Advisory Committees including:

  • National Executives Committee 
  • Audit Risk and Finance Committee
  • Risk and Innovation Committee
  • Expert Advisory Committee
